Instructional Strategies (QM 1.2, 7.3)


This course provides 120 training hours that align with the Council for Professional Recognition

(CDA) requirements. There will be at least 10 hours in each of the 8 content areas. This course will

have a blend of online training (via ZOOM) and online coursework via EduCat.


Online work can be completed at any time within the assigned time frame. A portfolio will be

completed and assistance will be given in submitting MiRegistry CDA paperwork and the TEACH

scholarship application if applicable.

As Special Advisor for Campus Wellbeing, I have been working with the NMU Student Athlete Wellbeing and Safety Committee (SAWBS) I to design a hybrid-format training to be delivered to coaches and other athletics staff in Winter 2023.  I would like to use this platform to develop and deliver the portion made up of online, asynchronous modules.
