Standard 6.1 Institutional Financial Support
Standard 6.1 Institutional Financial Support
The institution provides adequate financial support to ensure the program can achieve its stated mission and goals. An annual programmatic review will assess financial resources, including personnel, operating expenses, and capital needs, to ensure alignment with program objectives. Findings from this review will be presented to an advisory board for evaluation, with recommendations for additional resources as needed.
The budget development process, conducted in collaboration with the Senior Director of Budget and Finance, indicates no anticipated financial insufficiencies at this time. Should deficiencies arise, the Program Director will address them with the Associate Dean of the School of Clinical Sciences. One-time shortfalls can be mitigated using the School’s reserve account, while recurrent unbudgeted costs will be escalated to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Professional Studies and the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs to identify sustainable funding solutions.
The program’s budget is strictly based on the institution’s established budgeting process and does not include revenue from external activities outside of this framework.
