Maple Cranberry Sauce

*This recipe was taken from allrecipes.com  I found it to be slightly too sweet for my taste, but absolutely delicious nonetheless. I am sure it would be just as good with less maple syrup. 

-12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
-1 1/2 cups maple syrup
-1/3 cup water

In a large saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
