Online discussion forum Reddit has announced a new video feed for its mobile app that will make it easier to watch the social network's content all in one place. This feature works on Reddit's platform from just discussion to short-form video making.

This feature works on Reddit's platform from just discussion to short-form video making which is very similar to the TikTok video format. TikTok continues to grow and many other social platforms are getting inspired by the concept of short-form videos, so much so that they are also trying to copy such trends. For example, Instagram introduced Reels after 15-second videos inspired by TikTok, and Snapchat rolled out a service called Spotlight. This feature is currently being rolled out for iOS users, but it is not clear when it will be made available to users on other platforms.

Users of the Reddit app can see a new button to the right of the search option if they have opened the application, which started unveiling for iOS users this Friday. Whose experience is essentially like Tiktok. You can scroll vertically through the list of videos on Reddit to explore the videos. When a video is shown, the name of the poster and the subreddit where the video is from will pop up. Interaction options include upvoting and downvoting as well as commenting, awarding and sharing.

The application will further show videos from users you have subscribed to and other types of videos that are related to your interest. Reddit acquired TikTok's competitor, Dubsmash, back in December. The Creative Video app isn't included in this specific feature, but Reddit still intends to incorporate its video tools into its platform.
