I raced my bicycle this Saturday and Sunday. Today I had polenta for breakfast with maple syrup and sea salt. This seems to be what I eat the most. I enjoy it warm and cold. It seems to taste very different warm than cold. I do not know if this is in my head or what but it seems like two different foods to me just by changing the temperature. For lunch I had buffalo jerky and more polenta. For my evening meal I made acorn squash and fried/roasted the seeds. I am going to eat some smoked lake trout and more roasted squash seed before bed. I like to eat right before I sleep. Is lake trout native? I thinking that it is because I do not believe that the dnr plant it. I am going mountain biking in the morning and then going to butcher a deer. Should I be saving the fat for soap? Is there anything else I should save other than the meat?
